    Beer Festival 2019

    Friday 10th & Saturday 11h May 2019- At the Miners Welfare Hall

     

    Firstly, a massive thank you for your support in last year’s Beer Festival which raised over £6000 for our nominated charities.

    41 Club are a not for profit organisation and all proceeds from the event go to local charities.

     

    Again this year we will have a great range of beers with 25 varieties to enjoy. These will include some traditional favourites and gold medal winners along with a fine mix of new world beers and lagers, porters, bitters, stouts.

     

    There will also be 20 ciders which are proving more popular than ever, along with wine and soft drinks to cater for all. 

     

    Friday night - Houghton41 club,  beer and cider  festival are pleased to announce the music entertainment for the Friday night 10th May 2019 is Josh Hodgson.

    Josh is  a singer and guitarist from Sunderland who does a range of rock, pop and soul covers, as well as original material.

    Saturday afternoon will be a more relaxed affair with background music provided by Distant Suns.

    Distant Suns are an experienced function band from the North East of England. Who play a variety of songs from the 1950s to present day.

    Again you will be able to acquaint with some great beers and ciders and catch up with old and new friends. 

    A firm favourite for the seasoned veterans.

    Saturday night  we are delighted to have the superb local band Liberty Belle,

    Liberty Belle are a 4-piece band covering rock, soul and pop classic hits from the 70, s to present day.

    The band always get folk up on their feet with their high energy and fun set.

    Recently voted the best band at the weekend event of the Winter Fest at Beamish.

    Tickets: - 

    Saturday afternoon and Friday evening is £5 with 1 drink token and a commemorative glass .

    £10.00 for Saturday night which include 2 drinks tokens, a commemorative glass.
